Who can attend this symposium?

The symposium is open to educators (teaching or leading an educational institution or working in the headquarters) and students training to be teachers only.

Yes, international participants may attend as well but please note that there is no provision for travel grant and participants will have to cover their own expenses for flight ticket and accommodation.

Early Bird Fees (valid till 16 June 2024, 2359HRS)

* For purchases of 2, 3 or 4 tickets, group discount does not apply. Kindly purchase individual tickets accordingly.
^ To purchase student tickets, you will be required to submit online photos of your student pass for verification purposes.
– PurpleForest Events Pte Ltd is the appointed events management agency for MHC Educators Symposium 2024 collecting registration fees on behalf of the Malay Heritage Centre. The charges for the registration fee will appear on your credit card/bank statement that it is made by PF EVENTS.

Yes you may! Please make the arrangement within your group and appoint someone to register on behalf of everyone.

For ease of registration, please prepare on hand the following information for each participant:

  • Name (this will be printed on your symposium name badge)
  • School / Organisation
  • Email Address (For verification, please use your corporate/student email address)
  • Phone Number
  • Designation
  • Subject teaching
  • Level teaching/leading
  • Workshop Preference (you will be asked to rank 1 to 3, with 1 being most preferred workshop)
  • Will you be attending the guided tour? (Yes/No)
  • Guided Tour Preference (you will be asked to rank 1 to 2, with 1 being most preferred tour)
  • Additional accessibility support (if required)

The main conference language will be in English and no translation will be provided at the conference. However, if majority of the participants understands Malay, sessions may be conducted in Malay.
